June 2017 - I can't believe I hadn't read this one to Ben before, since it's a storytime staple for me. He was totally into it.

The story of a mouse and his strawberry. This has always been a favorite for our son.

Very cute but I'd have liked to see the big hungry bear. But I got half a strawberry so who am I to complain :D After reading this at least 10 times both in English and in Kiswahili I must say it's awesome! :) And with a small, exited kid in your lap it's even better. :D

This is one of my faves! Love it!

What's your favorite part of the book?
The mouse guarding the strawberry! And when he put the mustache on it, it was so silly! This book makes me feel like flatness. (As Finn planks...)

I like it because I like strawberries and mice and he is saying shhh!

Do you want me to read it again?

What Momma Thinks...
This is a really cute book, about a mouse who finds a huge ripe strawberry. The mouse is afraid that the bear is going to find and steal his strawberry, so he decides he must eat it, in order to keep it safe.

Cute.

3.5/5

This is a children’s picture book about a little mouse who finds a big juicy strawberry and tries to keep it hidden from the bear so the mouse can have it for himself.
