I saw Bethany being pregnant coming but I did not see Matthews betrayal. I knew Archer was good but I didn't know he was in league with Luc.
I cannot believe everything that happened in this book. Paris. Ash. Andrew.
I am so glad we got to see what Daedalus is like on the inside and what they do. I hate what they do and will never agree with it. It is unbelievable that they think they have the right to do that kind of stuff.
I LOVED THE REUNION SCENE WHEN THEY ALL MET AT THE HOUSE OH MY GOODNESS
Awesome book. I am so so sad to be at the finale.

SO much happened in this book.  So many questions were answered.

And we got to enjoy our glowing Daemon go all hero and sacrifice himself to rescue his girl.  Blake is dead *YES* and the escaped *YES*
I absolutely didn't see the whole Origin's thing coming.  I am really hoping it doesn't come out in the next book that Beth and Dawson we forced to have a child and never had access to it.  Oh Luke, you are such a weirdo and now we know why.  I absolutely called the fact that Matthew was sketchy! It broke my heart when he gave them up....again.

I am starting in on the next book right now!  I need to know how this all ends!!!

I devoured this book. I found myself taking my kindle with me any chance I could, sneaking in a few paragraphs every moment my attention didn't need to be somewhere else. That is how you know you have found an incredible read. When you literally cannot fathom leaving the pages and returning to reality. When the characters are talking to you in your head and you cannot ignore their demands to be heard. This book consumed me. So much has changed, people, places, the entire world....and yet there is that one connection that makes everything worth it all. Knowing the love is real, feeling it pouring out of the pages, its so beautiful. Such an incredible world Jennifer Armentrout has created and I cannot get enough.

Het begin was wederom super, al voelde het verder in het boek steeds meer als overbodig extra.

It was good. I'm not going to lie, though, there were parts that were hard for me to get through, because I was so pissed off.

But overall, it was fantastic, and I'm excited to see how this all wraps up in the next book.

What just happened?
I'm like sitting here with- as Katy would say- a WTF look on my face. Just... Holy shit. That was a lot to take in.
I'm going to spoil some things now.
Just, oh my god Daemon's so fucking cute. He turned himself in for the girl he loved and now he won't stop saying I love you and AHH ITS TOO CUTE!
Katy, I have to give it her, she pulled some pretty badass moves in Origin and Opal. She is not the girl she was in Obsidian.
Now, the ending.
Matthew, I liked him. I like really liked him and was like aw, gimme a Matthew in real life to be like a role model to me. BUT NOPE, THAT THOUGHT WENT DOWN THE FUCKING TOILET! What an asshole, if you wanna fucking protect your family, protect ALL OF THEM not a select few. Thank god he's dead, Dawson one point for you.
So Andrew is dead. I was starting to like him. He wasn't Adam, but he was growing on me. THEN HE HAD TO DIE. And you know, I was thinking, that blast thing is fatal to Luxen but not to hybrids. So if Beth was hit with the pulse thing, she'd just get hurt instead of die until Ash who would most certainly die. Did Ash not know it wouldn't kill Beth or did she? Did Ash commit suicide in an act of heroism? I understand her actions if she did but like, damn. She was growing on me too.
Then the living group gets to the loaded fifteen-year-olds other mansion in the middle of nowhere Idaho, and Beth is pregnant, Katy is all over the news, and evil Luxens have arrived???
I'm still processing all of this but... Damn.
I need Opposition now.
