I liked this story and conclusion with a lot of exceptions that I’ll explain.
The first two books were pretty dark and twisted secret society romance.
They were kinky and full of shocking events and exciting twists and turns.
They had an almost gothic, very dangerous vibe.
I loved the first two books, the stories and characters.
-For me, this book was a completely different tone and vibe than the first two books and I really wanted more of the expected darkness, more twists and more debauchery.
It felt so different from the first two books, the characters were softer, the story was milder and unfortunately it wasn’t what I was hoping for and expecting.
The writing and story are still very good. If it was not part of this trilogy I would be much more satisfied with it.
I hoped for the dark, dangerous and kinky to remain in the conclusion and it really didn’t.
It was extremely different. I’m still glad I read it and experienced the conclusion of these wonderful characters story.
-This book pulls everything together and gives an ending I’m sure many will be satisfied and very happy with.

I really liked the first two books. This last book was slightly disappointing. I wanted more secret society vibes.

This story was mostly about family & friendships. It was missing the power, darkness and danger that set the tone in the previous books. It focused a lot on Mercedes’ pregnancy & family events. I wanted more about “their reign” in the IVI universe.

The ending pulled together nicely tho and I still enjoyed the story. It was just a lot softer and sweet than I had anticipated.

Ok I have to say this book was all the thing's as it's the third and final book in Mercedes and Judges story and boy was it intense. This picks up where Bk 2 left off at just like there wasn't a break in the story. I love it when the new book is close to when the last one was released makes it so much easier. Well these 2 ladies did again another fan-freakin-tastic story that has you on the edge of your seat as well as leave your heart racing to what happens next. I have to say I think I loved this one a smidgen bit more though, it's probably from that exorcist comment haha. These 2 you can't help but root for them and for Judge to stop being ridiculous. I'd definitely recommend one clicking especially if you've read the other 2, because these are standalones, so you need this book.

This third and final installment kicks off exactly where the second book left off. I loved that in this one I was able to be surprised and that there were moments where things happened I hadn't actually anticipated or they worked out completely differently from what I had been expecting. As with the previous books, this one packs a ton of angst and heat and steam and I just LOVED it! Judge is exactly the kind of Hero that I love to have in my romance books - super alpha, growly and controlling but also, in the end, takes actions that leave you feeling satisfied and happy when you are finished reading. Highly recommend diving into this series if you haven't yet!

The end of this trilogy is cute and more lighthearted toward the end
A bit of suspense, grovelling and angst.
Overall it was a nice serie. Good but honestly not as good as the requiem for a soul trilogy.
