The cheese continued. This main male character was my favorite. But still cheesy. And the fantastical aspects were still kind of basic and formulaic.

This book fell flat for me. After reading the blurb I thought this book would mainly be gothic and dark with some fantasy elements, but there was a lot of romance. Maybe I was not in the best moodwhile reading. I just don't think this is worth your time. There are much better books if you are craving something dark.

Eh....... I just wasn't in the mood for this book but I finished it anyway. Romance and horror is a strange combo.
