I have now officially read every book Liane Moriarty has published and I wish I wouldn’t have waited so long to get around to this one! If you love a good character study that has plot and twists Liane is the queen and this book is no exception. Ellen is a professional hypnotherapist who is dating Patrick, and Patrick has a stalker and a deceased wife. But instead of being freaked out Ellen is fascinated by the stalked and understanding of the deceased wife. You will come to love these characters and I truly didn’t know how this was going to end until it did but I loved it.

What person in their right mind (maybe that's my answer) hears their significant other has a stalker and goes "oh thank goodness! I thought you were going to break up with me! This is SO much better and more interesting. This is going to be fun!"

Ellen wasn't likeable, I didn't trust Patrick at all, and Saskia has major issues. They all need serious therapy. Maybe that's what this book should've been about.

Not my favorite book of hers, but a good read. Glad I borrowed it from the library...would have been disappointed to have paid for it.

This didn't have the compelling mysterious edge like some of her others I've really liked. It was good, just not great.
