Oh the angst in this book!
Again, Moriarty has managed to bring to the story people who have honest emotions.
That said, maybe I was in the wrong frame of mind, because that bugged me this time instead of being enjoyable!

A couple of good quotes in the book that did resonate with me though:
"Rejection... was so tough on the Inner Child. Fears of abandonment, memories of past hurts, feelings of inferiority and self-loathing, all rose to the surface in an unstoppable torrent of feeling"
(while this talks about romantic rejection, I reckon this is true for all kinds of rejection)
And I can't find the other one nearer the end of the book.

Not the author's best. The premise was so viscerally upsetting that I had a difficult time connecting with Moriarty's signature humor...
SpoilerI just felt sad reading the first-person perspective of Patrick's stalker.
Mostly, I was stressed out, even though I enjoyed reading this book, which does not make for the best escapism.

Quite engrossing, the idea of a stalker is a bit dark but intriguing as well. I like how Moriarty makes you think about morality and question yourself about what you would do in similiar situations.

This is a story of grieving Not only of death, but of relationships and hopeful futures. I liked the characters, the plot—it was a good read until the last bit. I felt meds were tied up loosely and quickly.

The author is great and creating the imagery of Ellen and her home.

Although it was still good, I've enjoyed Lianes other books much more. I liked the different vibe given from the stalker input but I don't feel I ever bonded with these characters as much as others she has created. The only part that had me gasping was when the 2 went tumbling down the stairs. Thought someone was dead for sure! Would give it 3.5 stars if that was an option.

Liane Moriarty has a way with telling a story! This book deals with weighty issues such as blended families, unplanned pregnancies, and stalking, but it doesn't feel heavy. Very enjoyable.

I really enjoyed trying to predict all the reveals and mysteries. It felt like a series binge and I kept clicking "next episode". I felt the ending was a little abrupt as if I'd missed the last 2 mins of a movie, but yet it didn't feel unfinished either.

Easy read. Enjoyed the characters. And learning more about hypnotism.
