I enjoyed this book in the beginning. As with all Liane Moriarty's book, it has the story with the subtle mystery where you know something isn't right, and you even have ideas of what that is, but you just aren't sure. That is what kept me wanting to read this book. However, I soon realized that there was nothing there. Nothing else. No mystery and in fact, nothing else happened. All the innuendos were just misleading. Literally, after the first 100 pages, nothing happened. Not one thing.

So anyway, I was disappointed.

I had high hopes for this book as I have really liked the other books I have read by Liane Moriarty. However, this book didn't live up to my expectations. I found myself skipping over text just to get through it quicker. It was an okay book, and I rounded up in my rating. 2.5/5

Not my favorite but still another great story by Moriarty! Take off 100 pages and I think it would’ve been perfect.

As with her other books, Moriarty keeps you guessing on where the book will end up. In this tale, we follow the hypnotist through her love story as well as Saskia, the stalker of the hynotist's boyfriend. By the end you easily sympathize and understand all of the characters, even the stalker. If you have enjoyed other books by Moriarty, you will likely enjoy this one as well.

Not her best book but still certainly very good. Certain parts felt very long and did seem a bit drawn out. No crazy surprises or plot twists; rather predictable but not in a bad way. A nice happy read and wrap up.
