I just love Liane. This book is more than anything very sweet.  It’s heartwarming while also having an interesting plot behind it. It also made me think about how we look at love and relationships. Like why isnt everyone a stalker lowkey? Everything is tied up a little too neatly at the end but that’s something that I enjoy at times.

I really liked this one, but I also thought (several times), “wow this is quite long” … and as much as I liked the story, it didn’t grab me like some of her others. Better than Apples Never Fall, but not The Last Anniversary or What Alice Forgot, etc.

Moriarty’s books usually have wonderfully relatable characters and situations that can make me think and reflect on my own life and marriage and relationships. This one wasn’t nearly as relatable and the reflective gems were fewer.

And Saskia? What a curious name choice.

Also, very interesting to give us the stalker’s perspective. I did like that in the closing; working out her behavior with the psychiatrist.

Well, it was bound to happen—a less-than-stellar, but still enjoyable, Moriarty story.

The tale this time revolves around only two women's perspectives. On the whole, the book was very intriguing. The hypnotherapist's side is funny, warm, reassuring, and a little neurotic. The other side is wry and more than a little sad. This books seems more drawn out than the others, and I can't help but feel that it was because of a "missing" perspective. I found that I missed having a third female voice in the narration loop. I can only imagine who it would've been, but there were possibilities there.

That being said, this was still a really enjoyable book and I cared about the people and the story. The mystery of the other person's identity was intriguing up to a point, but Ellen (the hypnotherapist) often made some idiotic decisions and it was tough not to get frustrated with her and her story.

On to the next.

Good, but didn't enjoy it as much as her other books.

This is just one book I couldn't connect with. It had the potential to be an interesting book. All the characters seemed flat. Not my favorite by this author.

3.5 convenient and quick but even so, I adore Moriarty's storytelling
