This book was like 100 pages too long. But for frozen fans a perfect winter read!

Warning: this book is NOT what you'd expect!

But in the best way possible!!! This book picks up as an addition to Frozen 2 and takes the story of the forest and Elsa's power a bit further.

While battling the darkness that is ruining crops and killing animals and the like, Elsa, Keistoff, Anna and Olaf head out into the wintery cold once again to try and get answers about where the beast came from and how to stop it.

This book give the Frozen saga an interesting spin! Written in a language, font and print size appealing to younger readers, this one is a hit for all ages.

This book is not as good as the Jen Calonita- Frozen Twisted Tale though. But still fun and enjoyable.

I thought I could read this to my 5yo, but it was too scary and angsty.

This was a pleasant surprise! I'm an unapologetic Disney lover and I loved how accurate this was to the movies, it was great

I'm glad I picked this back up again after a few months, now that I'm in the middle grade mood. It felt at first like what it was...a filler between movies, but soon grew into its own entity, and showed that really, Benko wasn't afraid of (or was allowed to) make some huge decisions for the world of Arendelle and the characters. I love the willingness to expand Arendelle's lore, full of magical creatures and legends. Also, the end was just so sweet.

If you love frozen you’ll love this book. I was surprised at how many little things connected us to Frozen 2, so that was fun. Getting to see a bit more around Arendelle and Anna and Elsa was quite lovely.
The central plot was a little strange though, if I’m being totally honest.
