Thank you to Scholastic Aus for sending me this wonderful book!

I absolutely loved this. It was so enjoyable and I loved how it still focuses on the relationship between Anna and Elsa. There were plenty of plot twists which kept it interesting and fun to read. Just when I thought I had it figured out, it surprised me with a plot twist! The world building and imagery was fantastic! I loved seeing some beloved old characters and meeting some new ones that I adore!

If you’re a Disney lover or Frozen lover then you will for sure enjoy this incredible book!

4.5 stars! I was expecting just a fun read for Disney fans, but this book was actually much better than expected. The story about facing your fears fits perfectly between the two Frozen movies and there are a lot of hints to the movies fans will enjoy!

I love Frozen, especially Frozen 2, so I’ve been excited to read this book. This book is set about a month before the events of Frozen 2 and does a decent job of setting things up while still having an adventure of its own. I only wish this book had more Elsa or at least gave us her POV. The story mostly focuses on Anna, which had me anticipating a different ending than what we got.

I’m also a little bummed that it was Elsa’s emotions and fear that caused the monster. I feel like Elsa gets blamed all the time for her powers and emotions. I was ready for this to be Anna’s doing and for her to face consequences for casting a spell. Can Elsa just get a break for once in her life? 😅

Here we are again, reading a book about Frozen. Who can blame us? Frozen is too good to not want to learn more about. This book is the bridge between Frozen and Frozen II. It tells the adventure that happens before the events of Frozen II, but ends on the beginning of the second movie. I enjoyed this book a lot! The author stayed true to the feeling of Frozen and didn’t add weird extra stuff that doesn’t make sense. Though it’s about the main characters of Frozen, it was completely original. The arcs of the two sisters are always amazing, and it wasn’t any different here. My only complaint is that the title doesn’t really have anything to do with the story. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this story to anyone who wants more Frozen.
