“Immortality didn’t suck. Though I did. Har har.” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5BloodyStars

Every time I finish a book my Anne Malcom, I’m convinced it’s my favorite. The I pick up her next read and BAM... it knocks the previous book out of the park.
Fatal Harmony might be my favorite book that Malcom has written. I love reading PNR books. They were and always will be my first love. Fatal Harmony had EVERYTHING I look for in the paranormal romance genre.
You read this book and you will fall in love more with the main female character than you would with the men.
Isla is that woman that attracts you at first sight.
From her impecable taste in wardrobe, undead status, to her sarcastic remarks, witty comebacks, no filter mouth, tough as a freaking ox, she’s that woman you wish could exist in real life and you can befriend her forever, lol.
Just like her other books, Anne Malcom had me in tears laughing at the conversations these characters had, or the internal monologue of Isla. At the same time, this amazing author is able to write emotions so beautifully poetic and vivid that you feel and taste every emotion with these characters.
The fear, angst, anger, love, hate... Anne Malcom has the perfect writing ability to mix you in there and not let you go till there are no more pages to turn.

Fatal Harmony was simple perfection. Sexy vampires, demons, witches, werewolves, slayers, vividly written action packed scenes, beautiful friendships, steamy relationships with sexy scenes, ridiculous comebacks that have you on the floor laughing, and emotional situations that really tug at your heart... I mean, this book had it ALL.

I can’t deal with that cliffhanger!!! Thank god I get to jump right in to Deathless. I must find out what’s going to happen to my paranormal gang!

This book was amazing!!! It's been years since I last read something paranormal. But this is the first time I'm reading one that isn't YA. I can't wait to continue this series!

ARC provided by author!

Fatal Harmony begins when Isla ends up having a little more trouble than usual. Not only does she have to attend an invent with her horrible family, and meet the king of vampires, but she also runs into a slayer who won't stay away from her.

But, as the plot thickens, so does the blood between family and friends. Things get more dangerous for Isla as she comes to learn some harsh truths she didn't know before.

This book was actually very good. It introduces some wonderful characters like Isla, the king, and the slayer, as well as some awesome side characters too.

And the plot line was so good, I couldn't put the book down until it was finished, and even now I'm wanting more.

I thoroughly enjoyed the seriousness of the book, and heroine's humor as well, it brought with it a touch of lightness to a semi-dark type of story. I thoroughly enjoyed this one and I can't wait for more, especially after that cliffhanger ending.

This book was phenomenal. There was a huge hype about it even way before the release date but I still went into it with quite a reservation because the author writing style wasn’t my favorite based on my previous experiences with her works. I’m happy to say that this book swept me off my feet within one page of the story.

The writing is exceptional; it improved a lot since Making the cut. The world the author created is amazing and has a lot of original element to it. I really enjoyed delving into the secrets and shadows of this scenery. But in all honesty this one is a really brutal, dark, grisly story and world, not really for the faint hearted but Isla character puts a comic, lightening spin on the complex and extremely fast paced plot. Unfortunately the storyline is a little chaotic thanks to the numerous and unexplained secrets and mysteries and the continuously popping up questions. Not knowing the answer for any of them became quite frustrating by the end. So the truth is that the cliffhanger is not the only factor that makes me crazy excited about the next book.

Isla is probably my favorite female lead so far this year. She is kickass, loved her attitude and somewhat sarcastic, narcissist, callous and brutally honest self. But she has a lot of flaws and built really thick walls round herself. Also her inability to take anything seriously can be quite annoying but for a while it worked. One thing tough, her philosophical and ideological lectures during stare offs and every other inappropriate moment is a bit strange and it breaks up the flow of the events and also betrays her soft spot toward humans.
Her romantic life is messed up as hell, not just because her parents trying to sell her out as a broodmare but she catches the eye of two not quite ideal man whom are polar opposites of each other and their lifestyle doesn’t really agree with her. So there is a love-triangle-y situation and I have to tell you that she doesn’t ends up with the one I rooted for.

The story kept me on edge the whole time and there is a lot of unused potential to it still. This is a long book but you won’t regret the time spent on it. I’m really curious how things will develop in the nest books especially since I didn’t expect the twist at the end. The only thing I didn’t give it a perfect score is because as the story progressed thing became mushier and mushier and Isla hardened personality started to soften up in not the most appealing direction, she started to lose her edge.

I might be the odd one out here but I DNF at 40% I found that the story like was creative but fell into the same old forbidden love trope. I think I would have much rather enjoyed the book if she was interested in the King and kept Throne at an arms length but that might just be me. I love a good paranormal romance but I just felt like it was more of a task to keep reading it.

I live a good Paranormal romance and this has been on my TBR for awhile so I was stoked to see it under my Kindle Unlimited!
I liked this story and the political intrigue/inevitable war, as watered down as it was.
The actual writing though was not great. It has tons of grammatical errors and some parts needed editing, it felt forced. I feel like a "less is more" mindset wouldve made parts of this book better.
Isla. I liked her but again, her personality felt too forced. She was way over the top and it was too much. There is a love triangle but not really? And the whole hate to love thing? There wasn't enough "hate" to get that angsty feeling that I love between characters.
I could go on and on about this book. The cliffhanger was okay but not enough for me to jump to book 2. If book 2 has more Scott in it, then sign me up. Though he was written just as the annoying sidekick, there was something about him early on that needs to be developed more.

Im not really sure what to say about this book and Im unsure on the rating to give it.
I love the cover and blurb, they both grabbed my interest and made me want to read the book.
I found when I started to read this book that it was really slow going and I couldnt get into it at all.

Um, wow! I need more! I am definitely going to have to get Deathless now so I can find out what happens next!

This story has everything you want in a story. A kickass heroine who has the best one liners and a fabulous fashion sense, and also happens to be a vampire, a broody slayer with a body to die for and a fierce loyalty, a witch with a wicked sense of humour, a sinfully hot king... shall I go on?

I adore the characters in this story. Even Scott, who grows on you

I'm not much of one for writing reviews, I'm no writer and never feel I can adequately express what a book can make me feel with words as well as the authors that can play with my emotions.

I just want to say thank you Ms Malcom for returning my love for a genre that I'd grown tired of and making me feel like I've just discovered it for the first time! I cannot wait for the story to continue!
