Graham met Shayla at a low point in his life and they carried on a tryst for three years. Until they both went ghost on each other, Graham got his situation under control and came looking for Shayla. Shayla wasn't having any of at tried to push Graham away before he could learn her secret.

I loved the dynamic between Graham and Shayla. Each learned that it takes more than passionate lovemaking to make a long term relationship work! In their secrets lay their fear of being truly vulnerable to one another. In the end, they were both blindsided by the depths of their love for one another. This was a good read and piqued my interest in other Lady Guardians titles as well as other books written by Siera London.
