OK, so I'm mildly addicted to this series (read the first three books in a week) but I think this one will do the job of slowing me down.
My fave parts are between Stephanie and Joe, and Stephanie and her friends, and then the bounty hunter stuff comes second. My least faves are 1) the fillers; do we really need a paragraph on what Rex the hamster is doing in his cage? and 2) the over-the-top wackiness of Lulu and/or Grandma Mazur. In fact, all the senior characters seem some uber-version of Sophia Petrillo from the Golden Girls. Yes, those bits can be funny, but this book had an overload, which I ended up skimming or just skipping.
This time I really am taking a break until book 4, really.

Third book in the long running Stephanie Plum series, this one finds Stephanie trying to track down Mo, beloved elderly owner of a local candy store. Soon she finds herself enmeshed in several deaths of local pushers, training Lula, a crazy co-worker and both fending off and seeking out the attention of Morelli, the hot looking cop from her childhood.
Pretty much what you might expect from a Stephanie Plum book - funny, action packed and full of local color. I particularly enjoy how she keeps running into old friends and enemies, including hated school teachers and weirdos from her high school days. And Grandma Mazur is a hoot. Maybe too much so, but I love her.

This book was great but I liked her first two better.
I was a bit lost halfway through as there were so many things going on at once
