🔥 Move aside Damon Torrance, because William Greyson III has completely stolen my heart, leaving no trace behind!

🖤 For over 75% of the book, I was an emotional wreck, thanks to Penelope Douglas. Tears flowed, frustrations rose – I wanted to both hug Will tightly and shake some sense into Emory!

🎠 Emory's transformation was admirable, but did she have to shatter Will into a million pieces? I understood her struggles, but oh, the agony of watching Will's heart break over and over again!

🖤 Will's yearning for Emory's love was gut-wrenching, his desperation palpable. Yet, his grip on her was so tight, he didn't realize he was pushing her away until it was too late.

🎠 This rollercoaster of a story leaves you torn between alliances, questioning who's right and who's wrong. With twists that keep you on the edge, I couldn't bear to put the book down, yet dreaded reaching the end.

🖤 And let's talk about the steamy scenes – Will brought the heat like no other! Each encounter adding depth to the plot, enhancing the allure of their connection.

Oh man, I absolutely slogged through this book. At this point in the series, I feel like I’ve just read the exact same book four times in a row, so I got bored and totally drug my feet to get through it. There was a bit of excitement at the end, which was rushed, but overall it was  kind of repetitive. I’m not gonna read the last novella because I’m just ready to be done with this series.

This took me a while to finish this book it’s so long. Also I feel this is my least favourite out of the whole series. Every other chapter there is always a twist or turn. I felt there were moments in this book where it wasn’t necessary to thrown in there. Something I have been struggling with is new characters and trying to remember if there relevant or not. This was a drag to get through but when you were intrigued with the plot it did draw you in. I would also like to point out the fact that when you meet the male MC in these books there always angry and cranky I want a new angle.

I think this is a good series just this book was tough.

I’m going to be honest, I was so hesitant for this book. Will as a character that I just didn’t feel much toward for a good majority of the series. I knew we were going to get some serious depth because of how he acted in the second book but this is not what I expected.
I love Will so much, he is the one guy you really just can’t help but to love and his dynamic with Emory threw me for a loop even though it’s stated throughout the series how he felt.
She annoying me a lot throughout the series but in a very understandable way. In the “just swallow your fear and pride girl and open yourself way. Because Will deserved the world and was so sweet to get always.
This was a very good wrap up to the series and it definitely hints that there may be more to come in this world!

Overall this was my second favorite book but it was very close behind Killswitch. Ugh Pen just has a way of getting me to be obsessed with any story she wants to tell. This has become one of my favorite series of all time, across all genres.

The book was ruined because they spent too much time trying to round out the series (which they did not do well) rather than focusing on Will and Emory. Also the complete 180 with Alex and Aydin was ridiculous.

honestly, i liked this book but 600+ pages was really not necessary. as i expected the flashback chapters were my favorites. high school Will was such a softie, i fking loved him.
i felt that the blackchurch scenes were boring and too long at times.
high school willemmy and damon carried this book <3

“But you’re going to be fucking mine someday,” he growled. “Come hell or high water, Emory Scott. You’re my woman, and you’re going to come home to me every day and sit at my table and warm my fucking bed.” He kissed me. “And you’re going to give me a Will Grayson IV. Mark my words."
“I’d loved Emory since the moment I laid eyes on her when I was fourteen. I could still see her—sitting on her bike outside the chain-link fence surrounding the school parking lot as she watched my friends and me on our skateboards that summer. From that moment on, it seemed I was always aware of her, and everything I did, I did it with it in mind that she was watching.”
