Hellboy short stories, yes. I recommend Library Edition vol.2 as the best place to get them, but this is certainly a fine collection of fine stories.

-----

Hellboy, in particular Hellboy drawn by Mignola, is more suited to short stories than it is greater stories, for my enjoyment anyways. My biggest struggles with Mignola's signature style are identifying characters [apart from one another], and discerning what's actually happening in longer complex action sequences. Shorter, more concise stories solve both of these problems already.

And then, you know, they're great. Plus I'll never say no to more Bá and Moon!

Fantastic comic book. Volume one and two. Great insight into the character. I look forward to reading more adventures from Hellboy.

A short collection of stories depicting Hellboy engaging with various beasts from international folklore. Imaginative and creepy, but fans may be left wanting something more substantive and character-driven.

Collected in omnibus form, Mignola's short stories quickly appear repetitive and formulaic. Fortunately, his interpretation of folklore and mythology is imaginative enough to ensure they are still offer pulpy entertainment.

I've loved this collection of stories. The most important series this Omnibus collects is Hellboy in Mexico, and if you have the BPRD 1946-48 Omnibus you already have the 2 page story "Pancakes". I love the humor of it so I personally don't say all mind having it in two volumes.

It's also nice having some filler\context within some these mentioned throughout the other Hellboy stories.
