I typically enjoy realistic fiction and this really helped expand my imagination and develop a new appreciation for the way children think.

Overall, I felt this was a good book. It kept me reading, and I enjoyed the creativity of the character, Ivan. Even though there is a "happy" ending, I would have like to tweaked it a bit. :) I would definately look into other books written by Ahern.

I was genuinely surprised when I read this book. I was used to Cecelia Ahern as being a good chicklit writer whose stories are enjoyable, but don't particularly insightful or making you think. If you could see me now was very different. I absolutely LOVED the concept of a book written partly from the point of view of an 'imaginary friend', who in the book are not necessarily imaginary... It also didn't have the 'all-happy' ending I'd thought it would have, although it was still a really good ending.
All in all, I really enjoyed this book and I couldn't put it down. A great read!

I tried so hard to like this book, to be able to complete it. But I couldn't. I honestly really liked it until the middle of the book, I was really getting into it. When Elizabeth entered the story and Ivan started falling in love, that's where the story got boring and not readable for me. I'm all about fantasy and imagination but this is absolutely not it.

First, it was all about the importance of friendship and I really loved the unique concept. But was it necessary to just insert "love" inside a story that was all about friendship???? I've not been able to finish this book for 6 months now. No matter how hard I try, it's boring and has no context. This is the most boring book I've ever read. The subject and the story escalated so quickly from cool unique friendship stuff to boring useless love story.

Very interesting read.
Difficult to get into at first, but was very clever.
Had me in tears and was just such a sweet story.

I Love You|Cecelia Ahern|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1328190558s/1929407.jpg|2742631] is one of my favourite novels so I was excited to read more of Ahern's books, but I just could not like this book. This novel about an imaginary friend and an abandoned child sounded like it had real promise. Instead this story fell flat and I felt like the characters were not fully developed.

This has to be one of my all time favourite books, it's the book that made me continue reading all of Cecelia's other books. If you're looking for a romantic fairy tale book, this is definitely the book to read.

Weird book! Actually, only one weird concept, but it was a main part of the book. I think if that concept was taken out I would have enjoyed the book much more. I just couldn't get past the weirdness of it!
