This was a great read about the horrifying reality of undiagnosed illnesses and how so many can closely resemble one another. I can relate to a lot of the things Susannah reported about her own illness, such as all tests coming back normal. It takes a caring and determined doctor to keep trying when all else fails.

Some of this hit a little too close to home, but such a fascinating story.

I could not put this book down. I started yesterday and it took all my power to put it down last night and force myself to finish today. The story was my worst nightmare come to life for someone else. I would never wish this upon my worst enemy. Susannah and her support system are the epitome of courage and perseverance. I am in awe of their strength. Thank you for writing your journey.

not so good for that to happen!

I am probably a bit biased in my rating. There were just parts of this book in which I related all too well (i.e. picking chunks of paste out of my hair for days, one normal test result after another, etc.).

Very interesting to read this book from my perspective! Narrator does a terrific job in breaking down neurological concepts and goes quite into depth (which might sway other readers?). But to summarize, neurology is the coolest and this is a well written, easy to read book.
