Tropes/Themes:
-MF contemporary romance
-Doctor (H) x Pop Star (h)
-Hate to love
-Forbidden/taboo (ex-boyfriend’s brother)
-Close proximity
-Dual POV

Even though this was a fun read and I binged the audiobook in less than 24 hours, I felt like it fell a little flat when compared to book one in the series. I just didn't even up really connecting to any of the character's, so understandably I wasn’t as invested in their HEA as I wanted to be. I’m really loving Elizabeth O’Roark’s writing style lately though and am excited to pick up more from her!

This book was amazing, and definitely exceeded my expectations. There was a lot of depth to the story, especially in the second half of the book, and it was written so very well, it really got me hooked. I loved the banter, the dual POV, the tension, the backstories and the family dynamics. The characters were messy but oh so loveable. This might be a new favorite of mine!
