Weird. The man meeting his wife when she was a child made me feel a little sick, especially since he knows she will become his wife. The rest was fine.

I'm about ready to give up on this book. The characters are dry, flat and impossible to relate to. This is another case of the best seller list-like the Da Vinci Code, just because this book is popular doesn't mean it's any good. The beginning was enjoyable when Henry meets Clare when she is a girl. After they meet as adults, their relationship turns into a stuffy college infatuation. Overall, I'm really disappointed

If you are willing, this book will weave a fabulous tale for you. On the one hand, it is a complicated and imperfect love story. On the other hand, it prompts questions about the present, past and future. What would you do if you knew what the future would bring?

I would wholeheartedly recommend this book. It is a great story to get lost in.

Given the theme (time traveling) it could have been much enthralling, but a nice read nevertheless.

I had seen the musical before picking up the book so I knew the overall story arcs, but it was so much more interesting getting to see Clare and Henry’s thoughts throughout their hectic lives. The book delves so much deeper into the struggles they face both because of and despite Henry’s time travel, and their romance felt more real when read through their POVs. 3.75 ⭐️

+ planning to watch the Theo James tv show at some point
