Absolut fantastisch!

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the writing of the book. It and the audiobook narration were beautiful. But I wasn’t a fan of the content. I signed up for a book about an alien who explores the earth. Not a series of banal philosophies about humanity and an alien who wants to become human within a month of getting here.

Beside that, “Resident Alien” does that concept better.

How can I even begin to say what this book means to me? This was such a lovely experience. There were so many quotes that I highlighted and moments that I tabbed. Matt says that he wrote this when he had horrible anxiety and I feel like this book perfectly shows or replicates that. I would recommend this book to anyone who feels as if they have lost faith and humanity. So wholesome and just wonderful.

I absolutely loved this book. I thought it was incredibly humorous and showed an interesting perspective. I appreciated the character growth and the fact that "Andrew" was able to overcome his bias towards humans and see the beauty in humanity. I also liked being able to experience his take on things like listening to music for the first time or trying different foods for the first time.
