I couldn’t put it down, it was that good

I'm done with this series - it's really High School and not New Adult at all! I mostly have the same problems as with the first book - at the end I didn't really care about Cuba and Dovey and their over the top drama in this book -
dead sister, two dead mothers, mafia, prostitution, best friend turned jerk, unplanned pregnancy and so on...

4 out of 5 Stars

Very Wicked Things is book 2 in the Briarcrest Academy. I enjoyed Very Wicked Things and can't wait to continue with the series. I loved Cuba and Dovey.

the beginning was so good but then about halfway through, it just started getting crappier

Not necessary to read Very Wicked Beginnings (the 1.5 book) but does add depth

Whoa! Let me tell you -- this book has more drama than a Lifetime movie.

Our story centers around Cuba, the man-whore we met in book1, and Dovey an aspiring ballerina. Dovey is a broken, broken girl, but she never gives up hope. Her strength, fortitude and never die attitude really got to me. There were times I wanted to hug her, help her, cheer for her and I must admit, smack her too. I wanted her to achieve everything she wanted. And then there's Cuba, we learn A LOT about him in this book. We find out that there is a lot more to Cuba then serial sexcapades AND we find out what's behind these behaviors. These are some seriously broken kids, but together, perhaps, they can become whole.

Another great BA love story.
