It had action-packed pacing, short chapters, a quick start, ever increasing tension, and minor and major twists that felt neat, and with only minimal hinting at thru the story. It was very creepy but I never felt truly scared.
The messages the story is conveying about generational revenge and disrespecting others for entertainment actually worked well together.
The characters were relatable and likeable I think that if the characters were more fleshed out, or the writing more punchy, then I may have rated this higher. But I still enjoyed for what it was and would recommend it to younger readers.
