The problem with reading any series out of order is that the series either tends to get better or worse with time. In this case, I'm finding I enjoy the later installments far more, and though this was still easy reading it didn't really grab me at any point.

As always, this book has satisfied my need to find out what's happening in the life of Ruth Galloway, forensic anthropologist, and the mysteries she always becomes embroiled with. This one involves the drug trade, New Zealand aboriginals, repatriation of missing bones, and ancient curses. A great read.

Love Ruth Galloway and her complicated life. Enjoyed this one with it's many layers of complications and states of being - and her ongoing relationships with the people in her life.
