Funny as shit and some good life lessons. Listen to their podcast!

Hysterical and wise. A deadly combo.

Not in the demographic for this book. Young women.

I've heard of but haven't listened to the My Favorite Murder podcast. I'm not even a fan of true crime. But I loved this book! These ladies are hilarious and their messages about taking care of yourself, friendships and other topics in this book are on point. I listened to the audiobook as I walked around my neighborhood and probably looked crazy as I laughed out loud!

I can’t speak to how it reads as a book on paper, but the audiobook captures their voices well & was fun to listen to.

2.5 ⭐️

Overall it was an entertaining book (which I recommend listening to as an audiobook since the writers have a podcast), but I could not stand the sections that were recorded in front of an audience... I have also never listened to their podcast, which I feel left out a sense of connection to these authors that a lot of other readers probably had, but this book also will not lead to me listening to their podcast. Average middle of the road book that would be great for some people, just not me.

Hilarious and true, Karen and Georgia make hard things funny.

Fun book about Georgia and Karen. I really enjoy their podcast so it was fun getting to know them better- probably wouldn’t be a super fun book if you aren’t into their podcast.

Yea, not funny. Hmmm

First of all, look (listen), if you haven’t heard the My Favorite Murder podcast, go do that right now because it’s amazing and you probably won’t like this book if you haven’t listened to it.

As a stand-alone book, the authors are pouring their hearts out and being super vulnerable with us while imparting some hilarious and heartfelt advice. This is full of tear-jerking, wacky and fun anecdotes that readers of Jenny Lawson or comedy memoirs will love.

As a companion piece to the podcast, it gives you a much deeper look into the incredible whip-smart and witty women you’ve come to love and it only makes you love them more.

Truly, not great literature, but very genuine and a gift to murderinos and murderinos in the making. SSDGM.
