The concept of this book totally amuses me...the reality, not so much. By far the least funny of the Chelsea Handler books that I have read (all in the last couple of days)...still a fast read but really kinda lame and just not funny. Still do love the comcept of a comedian documenting one night stands but someone with more amusing one night stands is going to have to give it a try.

A very funny and provocative collection of short stories by tv late night host, Chelsea Handler. The only complaint I have with this book is that the flow of Handler's language takes a little getting used to, but once you get into the rhythm of Handler's writing style, the book reads easily. A great and humorous read!

I am honestly so proud of myself for pushing through this book. Not that it was abysmal or anything, but it's one of those books that you read when you have literally nothing else important going on in your life and you're so bored that you're willing to do anything (except socialize with real life people) to alleviate said boredom. And since I started reading this book during spring break (about a month ago) and I am now in the final stretch of my IB exams, I kind of have some important stuff going on in my life at the moment. Thus my statement about being proud of myself for finishing the book.

It was funny, and sure I laughed out loud a few times, but its humor just didn't speak to me on a level that would make me want to read more of her books.

Chelsea Handler does have a way of making her stories come to life as well as conveying her thoughts in a way that is very clear without explicitly stating them. I thought she did a good job writing the book, but like I said, I started reading this book when I had nothing to do and now I'm strugglin' with exams (mostly because I'm up all night reading instead of studying) so I wasn't really in the "right" mindset for the last fifth of the book.

It is a good beach read. Or a good "I'm in the doctor's office and there's nothing else to read but this and some ratty old World of Warcraft book" read.

Hilarious as always. I love Chelsea Handler, and I feel kinda bad for all the STUFF that she went through and at the same time, I feel proud of her. Mix feelings I guess. The book is definitely a good read and should even turned into a movie I think. Some of the jokes were a bit off compare to the high standard that now Chelsea has become, but I still loved it.

I love Chelsea Handler, but didn't love this book! I have the rest of her collection so I hope those are better than this one!
