I'm Mr. Loverman (Suguru)

oh, Hidden Inventory and Premature Death. the story that you are.
it is always quite fascinating to watch as two characters share an experience but then come out of it with completely different perspectives. throughout this volume and the last, Geto has been the stoic, practical one to Gojo's silly goofy attitude; they have really balanced each other out.
one ends up with a god-complex and the other turns to a life — as the chapter synopsis says — of ruin and rebellion. what could go wrong???
the artwork is once again amazing, as are the action scenes, but it is the relationships between the characters, and the gradual pull away (and then abrupt pull away) between the main two that really gets me. this section affected me a lot, both in the manga and in the anime. i think i have revisited these chapters/episodes the most.
and Toji Fushiguro. what an infuriating man. he has no cursed energy, yet he can be a worthy challenger against the strongest in the jujutsu world. i loved getting a glimpse into his backstory (providing us insight into the backstory of another beloved Fushiguro.)

Throughout heaven and earth, I alone am the honored one.
10/10 storytelling. and it continues to feel more and more like author is getting their sea legs compared to earlier volumes.
***i don't usually do a whole block of spoilers, but there are things i need to get off my chest...***
I killed Saturo Gojo.
I see...THEN DIE.
...the way i was on the edge of my seat throughout that entire fight.
also, can we talk about Riko saying she wants to leave and then boom. dead. 😩😩😩 it was such a shocking, effective moment. although this story has been pretty brutal at times already, i was genuinely not only sad for the characters, but worried about what would happen in the bigger picture.
i love this story so much.
