This was one of my favorite books as a child and is now a favorite of my son's.

It's either this or Goodnight Moon as the best book ever written.

This rating is boosted by nostalgia and from what I learned at the Maurice Sendak exhibit at the Denver Art Museum. The art is great.

Pretty art, never read this book as a kid and I think I just had high expectations because of the hype

i've always loved the art in this book

I add this book in hopes that it sneaks past the hipsters who have attacked it with their fads.
This book basically was my childhood. We had it narrated on cassette tape and I would fall asleep listening to it in the car, while dreaming up in my mind what a bedroom turning into a forest would look like to me.
It still holds a special place in my heart, as it should.

Un bonito cuento con una bonita enseñanza.

This was a short children's book with a pretty good moral. You can run about and be wild and young, feel like you need freedom from family and freedom from rules. But in the end all you really want is to be understood and loved. It has some pretty nice art as well, so I overall enjoyed this. :)
