On the edge all book long. I needed to know what happened, I needed to know how it all comes together and how it all ends. I hope for somethings to be so I need to finish to book to find out. Emotionally I liked how things turn out, but my brain is coming to terms with whether it agrees. Trying to wrap my mind around all that happens in this entire series and how it all ends. Wonderful writing, wonderful series that kept me guessing, wanting, hoping and on the edge the whole time. A rollercoaster ride that left me satisfied yet disoriented.

It was good, don't get me wrong, but sometimes I felt as if I were watching a scary movie saying "no don't do that/go there!". Highly unlikely scenario, but all of this series has been that way. Tony is/was a first class asshole, and the things he did to Claire are unimaginable. How she forgave him, I have no idea, which is another reason this series didn't rate higher. I just couldn't get behind it! On the plus side, the plot never quit, and you had to read one more page. I'm sure if you liked the first two books, you will like this one as well.

Can I say that this is one of my favorite series of all times?
Because I can name every single thing I loved and hated, but I will never make it justice.
I gasped, and gasped, and gasped. Just when I thought I had it all figured it out, there was something totally unexpected that changed everything.
It was awesome, I can't wait for Tony's POV!!!
And I can't wait to read this series all over again.

Wow what a trilogy. From the first book to the final book I was hooked. I was pulled into Claire and Tony's story, what a ride!!

This is the one of the series that so much happens. As I've mentioned, this is a re-read for me. So I remembered the basic big events. But there were so many things I had completely forgotten. Especially with Amber's storyline. I hated Sophia's storyline. I get what the author was doing. She introduced this character a couple books back, and I was thinking one thing when her story was completely different than my expectations. I still feel like Sophia got way too much 'face time' (or would it be 'word time' in a book?) I still love this series

I feel like the only way I could put into words how totally amazing this series ending book was would be to have [a:Aleatha Romig|5131072|Aleatha Romig|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1358112445p2/5131072.jpg] write it! There is no one else that can write like this. It's like Tom Clancy and Danielle had a love child and it was Aleatha! Seriously, how can one lone mind weave this entire tale?

This book was more than just the last in the series, so much of it was historical/flashbacks and explanations that it felt like it spanned more than just closure, it was reliving the whole twisted tale all over again.

I can't believe my range of emotions through this series and this book was no different. Romig's ability to construct this concept and then to execute it page after page with so much imagery and emotion. I swear this woman can write like no other. I cried during the Claire's childbirth...and I knew it had a happy ending!

Again, I feel like I'm rambling and I still just can't find words to do this justice. I suppose it would bad form to ask Romig to write my review of her book, so I will just say, to my fellow Hoosier, THANK YOU. Thank you for putting things in your life on the back burner and working so hard to bring this trilogy to life. You have some seriously diabolical talent, girl. Go back and write some more!

I don't think I've ever finished a book in which I ended up hating every..... single...... character.

*Spoilers Ahead*

I hate Claire for continuing to go back to her abuser, kidnapper, stalker, etc. I hate Tony for all the horrible things he has done to Claire and to others. I hate Katherine for obvious reasons. I hate Emily and John for not doing more to save Nicole from the horrible parents she has. I hate Harry for lying. I hate Amber for killing Simon. I hate Simon for leaving Claire the first time. I hate Phil for brining Claire and Tony back together. I hate Meredith for publishing the book, I hate Eric for being just a pansy and doing whatever Tony wanted him to do weather it was right or wrong.

The book left several unanswered questions - or else I missed them. Who attacked Harry? Where did Harry go? Was it a card analogy or a chess analogy--can we just pick one? Did Eric not get in trouble for his part of kidnapping Claire? What court gave this kid to two parents one who was straight out of the mental hosp and one who was straight out of prison for kidnapping, rape, assault, etc?

That being said, I couldn't stop reading the book . The story kept me on my toes with lots of twists and turns as the first two books did. The story was good although I did not like how it ended up. Not all good books end with good outcomes or the outcomes that we want. It was a book that made me have emotions that I did not want to have which is always a good thing. I felt myself feeling bad for Tony and had to remind myself to quit. I felt myself feeling mad at Emily for keeping Claire away from Tony and I had to remind myself that Emily is one of the most sane people in the book.

I have mixed feelings about this book. it was confusing, annoying, boring but I kinda still liked it.
