So, I'm still not quite sure what to think about this book. The author definitely did a good job of constantly throwing you off and completely blowing your mind. However, the story itself was just so far fetched it almost made it unenjoyable. 

The story is about a husband and wife who've been married for 5 years. On their 5th anniversary, the wife, Amy, mysteriously disappears. We get to follow along with the husband, Nick, as he tries to figure out exactly what happened while also trying to prove his supposed innocence. 

I can't really say more without some major spoilers. I will say there are some definite triggers for adultery. Also, there is WAY too much cursing. I actually dropped the book an entire star just because of the level of cursing. There wasn't a need for so much. There are also quite a few sexual references, but no full on descriptive scenes. 

Genre would be Adult Thriller.
