Beautiful love story. First books I've read from Sparks, and I must say, I joined the Nicholas Sparks bandwagon. I enjoy his style of writing. Saw the movie after, and the book is so much better.

Just like any other Nicholas Sparks book, Dear John is captivating. Once I read the first word, I was hooked.

I really enjoyed this book. I wanted to smack a few people in it at times... The ending was sad. Good read though

Second time reading this. It's been a decade since the first time I read it and I loved it just as much.

Nicolas Sparks really has a gift for making the reading feel the emotions of his characters. His books are so charmingly romantic without having to include steam and it just works.

Dear John tugs at the heart strings, forces tears, and leaves the reader with a full sense of closure. ❤️

Being the hopeless romantic I am, I really, really liked this. Even if Nicholas Sparks' books can be seen as 'repetitive' I really think you have to look past that and see the unique features all his novels have.
