I almost DNFed this because I felt that almost nothing happened in the first 80%ish - for every chapter of actual plot there were six chapters of nothing. The last 20% was really good so now I’m trying to get the sequel on audio. I think the world building could’ve been a bit better because there were things that confused me a bit during the book but I just rolled with it.
