I loved this story so much. I always preferred books that give me insight at the beginning so I can feel connected to the characters from the start. The author wrote this so differently that it gave me a new prospective and appreciation for waiting and getting to know the characters slowly as they get to know themselves! My only complaint is that i wish we could have learned more about Gabe and Clem since they’re important to the story and I feel like I missed out on truly getting to know them.

This story captivated me. The blooming of love like the lotus flower made my heart flutter. The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat. One of my most favorite reads by far.
