I loved I Am Number Four, and was excited to find out what would happen next; but I'm afraid that this second book does not match the first one's tone. It was also very triggering for my feminist self:
"...she always dresses slutty..." and,
"You're not writing an email. You're looking at guys with their shirts off."
"So what? Are you gonna tell on me, tattletale?" she asks mockingly."
I had issues with it since chapter 1, and its lack of improvement 4 chapters in is probably a sign that it's never going to.

I am Number Four is one of my favorite books. I love it too much to let this one ruin it.
