I loved the new characters and it is always fun to listen to the super-powers and inter-play between the teen aliens.
I wouldn't say I was counting the days until this sequel was released, mainly because I didn't think John would be in it. I really enjoyed the first book but there was something missing, something I couldn't quite put my finger on. The Power of Six is a big step up: fast-paced and action-packed. I loved the addition of a new narrator alongside John, who also managed to shed some of his annoying habits from the first book - some cringey, less-than-believable declarations of love aside.

This is the sequel to the best selling novel called I Am Number Four, and I have reviewed it here on my blog. If you've read the first book and didn't like it as much, you should read this one, because it's even better than the first book!
This one pretty much start's where the previous one ended and I thought we didn't get to read more from John's perspective, but I was wrong, we get to read from his view and Marina's (Number Seven) perspective. I loved the new character Marina and she's such a beautiful character. We get introduced to more characters as well as Ella, and some more. I fell in love with Marina's abilities and if I was one of the nine I would want to have her powers.
The Author has improved a lot and there's a lot of twists and turn's that'll make you turn the pages quicker than you'd expect. The romance in this book takes to new height's as well and I think he's built a lot of connection between the characters and I have personally fell even more in love with them.
He's not forgotten to put action sequences either they're all the way through the book. This book is yet another trill ride, where you'll smile, laugh, cry, get shocked and over Happy. I can't wait until August for the release of the next novel in this series!
This book and series is definitely recommended and Pittacus Delivers all the way through. This book has everything from Love & Romance to Blood & Vengeance.

SAM es el mejor personaje. Cuatro es demasiado adolescente para sus cosas. Quizás si los hubiese leído a esa edad lis hubiese disfrutado más. Voy a seguir leyendo la saga a ver qué pasa.
There were misses in this book. The plot was exciting at times, mainly when Four is narrating.... except when all he can think about is Sarah. Give it up dog. Six is awesome. Still waiting on Four to develop better legacies. The clock is ticking homie!! Despite its drawbacks, this book is a lot of fun. I will be reading the next one!

A little slower pacing for most of the book, but the ending went rapid. Great book, just not as good pacing, and loved the couple of twists and turns. A few key things he just decided to include towards the end without hinting to them was interesting and cannot wait for more background on the new characters that got introduced around the end. I should now expect someone new to pop in towards the end of the next book cause it now has happened both times.
