This was a fun romp with an endearing cast, but the pacing can be quite clunky at times. I think the writing also gets a little bit confusing due to how tongue-in-cheek it is. Would recommend reading after already watching the TV series because you can envision the book much better + less confusion over what’s happening.

I think the best aspect of the novel is the relationship between Aziraphale and Crowley; that of course, now mostly biased based on the TV show which is spectacularly cast! Good Omens is a great collaboration: slightly dark, yet amusing for a solid read and a perfect introduction to both authors!

Listened to the audio book on a series of road trips with my girlfriend who had never read Good Omens. I love this book. The oddball and sarcastic humor resonates with me, plus it parodies my favorite horror movie, The Omen. The audio book narration is excellent and makes for a great listen.
