Read in less than two days. Waiting for the movie. Like Ludlum but more gritty and blue collar.

This was a really absorbing spy thriller. It was a little too twisty for me but I enjoyed it and it was a pretty quick read. Probaby 3.5 stars.

I had enjoyed The Cairo Affair so I thought I'd give the Tourist series a try. As usual, the writing was good and the story was complicated - perhaps too much so, but I enjoyed it anyway. I'll g e the the rest of the series a go.

A fun and fresh spy novel, but with an unnecessary amount of loose ends. Interesting modern political issues, and a very compelling main character, but I think the book needed to be another 100 pages longer.

I'm not really sure if I would call it a spy story but it was great and different from most I've read except maybe The spy who came in from the cold. I have to hustle because I got the latest book in the series as an arc and now I pay for not starting reading these earlier. On the other hand I like to read series back to back so my mind is up to date with the developments. I really liked The Tourist and have allready started the next adventure.

Pretty good thriller, but very much of a certain moment in the 2007 to 2010 era that is moving ever farther away.

Just not sure what to make about this book. I felt there was no real protagonist or antagonist. Very confusing.
