The interpersonal relationships are more satisfying in this one and I think the conclusion is too, but the beginning was slow and boring.

Definitely liked the outcome of this book more than the first one! I still feel a bit duped when these reveals happen and it’s just about how we’ve been gaslit this whole time, but it was done better the second time around. Or maybe I just knew to expect it this time

It was ok! I was really invested in the side romance, so I found the mystery plot a little lacking.

Good, not as good as the first one. I liked that the plot was so different from the last even with a similar theme. Although holy crap how many normal people names am I expected to remember?! The glossary is helpful but I should have thought oh, how ominous when I saw it.
