It was really an interesting and a fun book to read. I will say that the book and the series are completely different from each other, so you can't compare them.
The book is made out of small stories that go more deep on Arséne Lupin's adventures. While the serie shows more about his personal life and how he pulled some tricks off.
But overall it was a nice book to read. And i do encourage you to watch the serie

Read the Swedish translation that was 111 pages. It was good and interesting. I started this book because of the new series Lupin on Netflix and it was fun to see the inspiration.

This was a fun romp. I saw the Netflix series and wanted more heist shenanigans and I got them! The romance aspects were very cringe and outdated and Hortense was very useless arm candy but the mysteries themselves were fun to guess at. Very Sherlock Holmes vibes except from the POV of the thief, so if you enjoy that language and structure you'd probably enjoy these. I would read more of them if my library ever picks up more works.

Lupin is a terrible, charming little gremlin and I love it. Both a criminal and a man of honor, a romantic and an absolute ass. He may be the popular period trope of unlikely all-around genius, but he's entertaining and loses just enough to balance it out. I wasn't sure how the Holmes cameo would turn out, but it was a delight. Both characters got to be skilled, classy, and very attractive.
A raíz de ver la serie de Netflix inspirada en el personaje, pensé que sería interesante leer las aventuras del famoso ladrón de guante blanco. Hay que tener en cuenta que se trata de una colección de historias de policías y ladrones de principios del siglo XX, concebidas para ser leídas a modo de episodios periódicos, como cuando vemos una serie en la actualidad.
Me ha recordado mucho a las historias de Sherlock Holmes que leía cuando era pequeño. No tanto por el protagonista, sino por las tramas rocambolescas, las sorpresas en el guion y la ingenuidad de los personajes y, admitámoslo, la que se le presupone al lector.
Con todo, es una colección entretenida que se deja leer, aunque a veces pueda resultar infantil para la mentalidad actual.
