Delightful, surprising guest appearance, and simple fun with the gentleman burglar

For the introduction to the world of one of literature's most famous antiheroes, I found its short stories somewhat disconnected and lacking more contextualization.

I mostly enjoyed the last stories as they were more entertaining than the first ones. The pacing also varied between stories; some tales felt rushed, while others dragged a bit. As for the writing, it is easy to follow, and Leblanc captures the essence of early 20th-century France with flair.

It’s a fun read overall, if not entirely groundbreaking, but ultimately, I confess the motivation behind this read was mainly the Lupin Netflix series.
