some of my favorite lines:
"Mate with me so I'm all yours"
"You're all mine anyway"

If this hadn't been my airplane book, I don't think I would have finished it. The beginning is fun - cheese-o-rama and melodramatic - and the frequent descriptions of the big-busted heroine's turtlenecks and the manly werewolf hero's manliness were quite entertaining. But after awhile the rhetoric about "real men" and the arbitrary (from what I could tell) differentiation between alpha and beta werewolves went from funny to annoying. By the end, I felt like I was slogging through a morass of makes-no-sense in order to reach the end. If it had been shorter or - better yet - had tighter editing, I think I would have enjoyed it more. It's very unlikely I'll read anything else by this author.

I really like this book. I would have to say it was even better then the last. The only thing I had a problem with was that Ashton almost raped Tessa and they just forgive him and became friends that really bugged me.

I enjoyed the mystery and drama in this book. Again we have a few different storylines going, though they all seem to connect to the main story and characters. We have a bit of intrigue as well and a surprise to discover something that thus far in the series we'd thought impossible. I really liked the main characters in this one. Hunter, while being an alpha male, seemed less overbearing than the main character in the previous book. At the same time, I appreciated the strong female lead in this book as well. Tessa is going through quite a bit in her life, but doesn't fall apart or shut down, she keeps fighting. I'm definitely looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
