This book got me hooked on this entire series! Holt is that amazing book boyfriend you want to have! And the plot kept me in suspense the entire time! 
Trauma and loss is something it’s presented in the book and I love it when an author makes a story feel like real life. ❤️ I can’t wait to read the other books too.

Since I was on vacation I did not write a review right away.

I loved this book!! This is a second chance romance. 

The FMC had a traumatic event happen and the MMC blamed himself and disappeared from her life and honestly the his small town.

He returns after 10 years because of his dad’s health risk.
There is tension because he left between the main couple but after they reunite old feelings come back into the light and their relationship improves

There was some wild twists that I was not expecting! This is a mystery romance so when I found out the culprit was in this book my mind was blown!! 

I recommend this book to anyone who loves 2nd chance, small town, mystery romance, etc. this authors writing is just amazing too!!

The beginning of the book took off quickly and I really liked the suspense and tension. Unfortunately it soon slowed down and felt repetitive and drawn out. I don’t think I’ll continue with the series.

Woweee. I fell upon the series and this author and I'm so glad that I did.

It's a delicious mix of suspense, romance, longing and banter. All the things I adore.

This is a 2nd chance where our MMC just up and left for TEN FREAKING years. He had his reasons and I felt for him but still.

I loved how this explored reactions to trauma and loss. And I adored how deeply connected our main characters were to each other despite everything.

I just know I'm going to fall deep in love with this series.
