I enjoyed this book but there’s a couple of things I wished were a little different like how I wish she would’ve made him work/beg for her forgiveness more. The suspense was okay, nothing too exciting but I did want to know what happened, so 3.5 to 4 stars is my rating.

This book had me hooked from beginning to end! And by beginning I literally mean the prologue. It was the perfect blend of romance and suspense. I truly believed in their love. The writing was easy to read. My one and only complaint was that I hated Holt’s nickname for Wren.

This book… If you want to cry, smile and stress sweat, read this book. I saw one video about this book on TikTok and immediately downloaded it. I was not disappointed. Now, I’m crying.

I really enjoyed this small town, slow burn ❤️

Holt comes home to a town full of painful memories and hesitant to see the girl he still loves.
Wren can't get over the fact that Holt broke her heart and left when she needed him the most.
Circumstances keep bringing them together time and again in this beautiful story about second chances, first loves, trust, pain, and forgiveness.
Can they heal the past? Can Wren trust Holt again? So many questions were asked while reading this one!
