A truly disturbing tale reminiscent of what the CIA and Us government have done in the past. The use of animals is a great way for the reader to feel stronger about the horrors that have been done in the name of science and advancing weapons technology, far stronger than people could have. This book like a few of Morrison's other books needs to be approached when in a good headspace.

One of my all time favourites.
Challenging and innovative both from a formal and conceptual perspective, the story also hits home emotionally. A very quick read, but will stay with you for a long time.
Thematically similar to Plague Dogs and Lives of the Monster Dogs, but more graphic.
