I have read the entire series and I did not personally find this one as satisfying as the first two. I feel as though the author was trying to make additional connections to the first two books and it fell flat.

It was a task to get through this book. It took me a while to garner up enough interest to get past the first chapter honestly. It took a while for me to get where things were going. Once I finally got the picture, I was focused on the answers and they were there but,  I’m not sure if I truly understand the answers. But I’m going to roll with my understanding on things.
Overall, the book was very well written and you had to really take a dive into the meaning of the words on the page. Things were far from black and white. I enjoyed that about it though. It really created a lot of mystery and aloofness around the plot.
There were some twists and reveals I wasn’t anticipating. I do feel like a lot of my original questions were answered but there are still some answers I’m needing to old and new questions.
I enjoyed the multiple timelines to piece things today for this “finale” of sorts but there is a fourth book coming so I’ll probably look into it.
