As someone who read/watched Heartstopper first, I always appreciated Tori’s presence, but we never get to know what’s going on with her. Tori’s thoughts and feelings as she’s working through them are communicated very well. The last 70 pages flew by really quickly. I want to know what happens next!

For all those hoping for another Heartstopper, I do not recommend this book. It is a well written debut novel, but it's VERY different from the Hearstopper content. I think it would have been very useful for me to know that 1. content warnings existed about this book and 2. how I would respond to the content.
