im not sure how to rate this, I don't feel like 3 and 3/4 stars is enough but 4 feels too much. I'm just going to put it a 4 but this is such an odd book It made me feel all sorts of ways and im at a loss to rate it.
It was more of an experience than a book.

i absolutely love tori. I've loved her since reading heartstopper about a year ago and I could not wait to read a whole book about her. She's an extremely relatable character. there are times when she sort of annoyed me a bit with how she was, annoyed isn't the right word (maybe like irked?) but it's close enough, but that's the thing about tori. her character is "sort of annoying" is because she feels real. sometimes characters annoy me and then i realize that they remind me too much of myself. i think this is one of those times.
i love micheal too. i think i love all the characters actually but i have to specify how much i love these two. as characters alone, but also together.

Spoiler I DID NOT THINK IT WAS LUCAS AT ALL like for some reason he didn't even cross my mind and the whole ending just left me a bit shocked and to be honest the whole scene was a bit confusing. it felt like a dream sort of? idk how to explain it but i had no clue whats going on except for the fire.

Great exploration of life, fitting in, mystery, and mental health. I have always liked Tori in the Heartstopper books and I was so happy to get to know her more.
