I was very intrested in reading this story, because of the fact one of the girls being taken is not able to use her voice. The way Gudenkauf wrote this book was very interresting to me. Just like a lot of her stories its like you never happn to know what truly happen til the end. Cali stood out to me in a way you could hear her voice while she could not speak, you knew what she felt and wanted to get across to her family. Petra I felt so heartbroken for when we get to the future the fact she is still living with the tramua while knowing Cali is not hurts. Over all a really interesting book!

Hard to put down. A great read that spoke to me on many different levels. I loved the narrator voice of each character. Loved it!

This was a fantastic book. This is the first book i have ever read by this author and it won't be the last. I was surprised with the ending as i thought i had figured it out. I am very impressed with this author and look forward to reading more by her.

This was a quick, easy read. Somewhat predictable, but entertaining nonetheless.

This book is told from several points of view. It sweeps you up into these characters and I really enjoyed getting to know them. Great job for a first time author.

I must say, at first I was a little skeptical about this book but I ended up loving it. At first glance, the book is very similar in writing style to Jodi Picoult's books. Each chapter is in the view of a different character. Since Jodi is one of my most favorite authors, this book quickly had a high standard to live up to. Thankfully, it did. Although I was left wanting more at the end, I felt the book wrapped up quite nicely and more wasn't really necessary. Overall, an excellent book.

Great Book. Wish I owned it so that I could read it a second time! I read it on vacation and could not put it down.
