I knew I had to read this follow-up to AJ Pearce's Dear Mrs Bird, a book that I enjoyed immensely. I liked Yours Cheerfully, although not quite as much in the first book, but that didn't stop me from going to the author's website to see if there will be a third book about Emmy (yes, there will). Like the first, this novel is charming and funny and packed with likeable characters. I did feel that it tailed off a little towards the end in a bit of a hurry, but not so much as to spoil my overall enjoyment of the story.
