Again another great book for Mead. It's strange seeing Dimitri threw different eyes, Sage's, instead of Rose's as we did in VA. Adrian is such a wonderful charater and I'm glad that he at least got to say his piece at the end though it is obvious that Sage wasn't ready for it even if she wanted it. Liked the little lead in for the next book which we know will deal with Marcus Finch. I keep waiting for Sage to wake up and see that the Alchemist are not good and become rouge. If that doesn't happen I'm not sure how much I'm going to like the series in the end. It's similar to how I felt with Rose and Dimitri and when I thought Mead had killed him off. That worked out so I'm putting my faith in Mead that this one will work out as well.

Siguiendo el hilo de bloodlines, the golden lily realmente expande el universo de la pandilla de palm spring en una historia cargada de intriga, aventura y un poco de suspenso que con cada revelación te hace querer devorar por completo el libro sin saltarte nada. El crecimiento personal de los personajes es notorio, mucho más que en la primera entrega, pero nada demasiado fuera de personaje como para sentirse forzado. Así mismo, el crecimiento de los lazos entre los personajes principales y secundarios es tan bueno y fluido, que hace que cada personaje se sienta real y un individuo importante que no solo está en la historia para mover la trama, sino para enriquecerla. Y ni que decir con la escena final... Simplemente te deja sin aliento y con ganas de leer mas para descubrir cuales serán las repercusiones de esa pequeña indulgencia que Sydney se permitió.
En conclusión, está relectura me ha recordado una vez más, los buenos personajes que son Sydney y Adrián, lo buena historia que tiene la serie y que, una vez más, no puedo esperar para leer el tercer libro.

ok, I have just finished it and I did love the ending, if only the book had been this way since the beginning I'd have given it a 5 stars review...I am giving it a 4 stars one when in fact I'd say 3,5 would be fair...very slow start, nothing exciting happening, Adrian was the only thing that made me continue reading.

Yet another amazing installment by the extremely talented Richelle. I can't explain the love I have for her writing. She really is amazing!
I just love this whole world. I am really starting to like the heroine a lot more as she starts to develop and progress throughout the series. The drama within the book just keeps me hooked and it makes me happy seeing previous characters from the other series.

The "Bloodlines" series isn't quite as good as the original VA novels, but the continuity of characters is keeping me reading because they have the same feel (4 stars because Dimitri was in this one, not gonna lie). Syndey can be a bit... intolerant for my liking
