The insta-love and excessive sex scenes watered down what would have been a great storyline so much so that when the plot twists started flying left, right and centre in the last 80 pages,they didn't elicit any reaction out of me...

And this is coming from a girl that considers Sugar Daddies by Jade West to be one of her roman empires of reverse harems....

There is little to no plot, it's mainly smut scene after smut scene. While the scenes themselves are well-written, I need some sort of plot, especially with how long the book is. I liked the relationship between the guys. But I see that miscommunication is a big part of the book and I hate that trope.

Basically 400 pages of smut, some of which was...quite inventive, with a background plot that was likely cobbled together in ten minutes since it fell apart like a wet tissue is you started to apply any kind of logic to it - but lets be honest, we aren't picking these kinds of books up for the plot, so who really cares?

If you want smut that's not too cheesy, it's a good pick. If you want a decent plot too, look elsewhere.

The writing is good and the smut is well written but nothing about that characters made me fall super in love with them or made them stand out to me in any way. I probably won’t think about this one much now that I’m done reading it.
Maybe it would have been better if I hadn’t binged it all in one night (I was cramming for a book club meeting the next day) but it was really long. Maybe I’m just someone who likes a little more plot with my smut.
